A. Getting started at SDA is easy with our thirty day EZ Start Program, which includes a free martial arts Uniform. Just contact us by phone or email to schedule your first class.
Q. Do I need to get in shape before I start?
A. No… Hapkido strengthens the body as well as the mind. Our classes are designed to get you in shape while learning effective Martial Arts.
Q. How long will it take to earn a Black Belt?
A. On average a dedicated student can expect to earn their Black Belt in only three to five years. SDA has very high standards for issuing Black Belt rank in Hapkido.
Q. Do you offer Family discounts?
A. Absolutely!!! We have many families in Monmouth and Ocean counties that train at our academy. We offer a 10% discount for the second family member , a 20% discount for the third family member. A special discounted price is offered for a family of 4 or more.
Q. Do I have to sign a contract to take classes at Self Defense Academy?
A. No… Our tuition is due monthly and can be paid with Cash, Check or Credit Card. SDA offers a discount for dedicated students who elect to have their monthly tuition paid electronically.
